Patchogue, NY, December 05, 2017 –(PR.com)– Mary P. Lodato, RN of Patchogue, New York has been recognized as a Top 100 Healthcare Professional by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide for her outstanding contributions and achievements for over 42 years in the field of healthcare.

About Mary P. Lodato, RN
Ms. Lodato is a Registered Nurse at BMHMC, which is a hospital providing patient care in Patchogue, New York. She provides basic nursing services in the ambulatory surgical unit with pre- and post-op patients. Previously, she taught L.P.N.’s at BOCES and worked at an OB/GYN office.

Ms. Lodato obtained a L.P.N. from Eastern Suffolk BOCES in 1973 and an A.S.N. from Suffolk Community County Community College in 1982. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and enjoys teaching bilingual nursing assistant students, L.P.N. students and those in the working maternal child arena.

Born on August 31, 1954 in Bronx, New York, Mary married Anthony on August 25, 1979 and they have three children. In her spare time she enjoys family activities, bbq’s, traveling to Europe and reading.

Ms. Lodato states, “I truly love nursing and mentoring nursing students and new hires who come to the facility.”

International Nurses Association Welcomes Cassie Lynn Malinauskas, RN, AAS ’16

The International Nurses Association pleased to welcome new nurse, Cassie Lynn Malinauskas, RN, AAS, ’16 to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Cassie is registered nurse holding two years of experience and a vast expertise in all facets of nursing. She is currently serving patients as a charge nurse in New York.

Cassie Lynn Malinauskas recently graduated with her Nursing Degree in 2016 from Suffolk County Community College. An advocate for continuing education, Cassie is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, with a projected graduation date in 2017. To keep up to date with the latest advances in the challenging nursing field, Cassie maintains a membership with the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She attributes her success to being goal oriented and motivated, and when she is not working, enjoys making stained glass.

SUBJECT:     Graduation Eligibility for January 2017

ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE JANUARY 2017 GRADUATES

Now is the time to apply for graduation if you expect to complete the requirements for an Associate Degree or a One-Year Certificate by January. Apply online by visiting the student portal at MySCCC and selecting Apply for Graduation from the Quick Links for Students menu.

Keep the following items in mind:

  • Submit the application for graduation by December 1st in order to guarantee that the Central Records Office can conduct a preliminary review of your status.
  • Submit the application for graduation in order to be posted as a graduate.
  • Submit the application for graduation whether or not you are planning to attend the graduation ceremony. This will ensure that your diploma contains the correct information.

Why is receiving your degree important?  That’s easy to answer.  If you will be attending another college, your Associate Degree may allow you to transfer more of your Suffolk County Community College credits.  Also, your degree can make possible many employment and scholarship opportunities as well as Alumni Association benefits.  And, finally, your Suffolk County Community College diploma is a testament to your hard work and accomplishment of this important educational goal.

If you have already filed for graduation, please disregard this notice.  We wish you all the best on your academic progress as you approach graduation.
